CF Open 14.1

CF Open 14.1

On friday i started the cross fit open season by competing in the 2014 cross fit open.
the first workout was

14.1
10 AMRAP (as many reps as possible in 10 minutes)
30 double unders
15 ground to overhead @ 75#

my score was - 253 reps- so 5 full rounds plus 28 double unders
my score a month ago when preparing was 4 full rounds plus 30 double unders and 13 G2overhead
a 30 rep PR. (not bad)

a lot of members at CF said they had problems with the grip and forearms blowing up.
i didn't have that problem, but also didn't get into as many rounds as they did, lol.

i did however feel like my heart and lungs were on fire, with minor case of Fran cough. 

Going to try it again today before the snow storm hits, cause the way the news is predicting the snow will have the gym closed tomorrow. 
we are calling it 14.1.2 at the gym for everyone who is going at it a second time. hopefully with a few extra reps this time.
